BioQControl collaborates with SKML (dutch organisation for quality control in hospital laboratories) in a proficiency program for serological screening assays. The program is intended to compare results of HBsAg, HIV-Ab, HCV-Ab, HTLV-1-Ab and Treponema pallidum-Ab screening tests. The program utilises dilutions of serological standards, as such the consistency of test results among different laboratories and over time is monitored. The program is not intended to judge on correct diagnosis of patient samples
