BioQControl can assist with introduction, validation and quality control of your nucleic acid test system. Our reagents are characterised by continuous data collection from proficiency testing, validation studies and quality control results. For the blood borne viruses we apply the Siemens Versant bDNA 3.0 assays to quantify our products in copies/ml. We have validated this method against other assays and limiting dilution experiments. A conversion factor against WHO standards is also given.
- Training panel: A selected sample set which new operators can run. The panel intends to monitor the performance of the operator after completing training. The panel has defined expected results which must be met;
- Validation panel: After installation validation panels can be run to access the sensitivity of the test system, at introduction of new batches or after maintanance. When new assays are introduces in the market we can provide validation panels covering all common genotypes and when appropriate specific panels can be tailor made to fulfill you requirements;
- Run controls: Qualitative run controls intended to be used for blood screening assays are assay specific. These products can be used to control performance and sensitivity of the assay. Quantitative run controls can be used in different assays. Users can calibrate their assay, monitor quantification and performance.
